Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Proxy Marketing LLC (dba “Sunlight Solutions”) (“Sunlight Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information when you visit our website, submit a form, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1) Who we are & what we do

Sunlight Solutions is an independent broker/lead generator. We are not an installer, lender, utility, or government program. We introduce interested consumers to licensed, insured, independent installers and related providers (“Partners”) who offer their own products, pricing, timelines, and terms.

2) Personal information we collect

The categories of information we may collect depend on how you use the Services:

  • Identifiers & contact: name, email, phone, postal address; device identifiers (cookie IDs, IP address).
  • Home & project details you provide: service address, roof type/material, utility provider, project preferences (e.g., battery backup).
  • Commercial information: records of requests, quotes requested, interactions with Partners (to the extent we receive them).
  • Internet/electronic activity: page views, clicks, referrer URLs, UTM parameters, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device info.
  • Inferences: basic inferences we draw (e.g., whether your address is within a service area).
  • Communications & consent records: copies of submissions, preferences, and TCPA/SMS consent.

Sources: directly from you (forms, emails, calls, texts); automatically via cookies and similar technologies; from service providers that help operate the Services; from publicly available sources to validate addresses/coverage.

3) How we use personal information

  • Provide and improve the Services, including matching you with Partners for quotes.
  • Communicate with you (service messages; with your consent, calls/SMS/emails from us and matched Partners).
  • Process and track requests, troubleshoot issues, and provide support.
  • Operate, secure, and measure our website (fraud prevention, analytics, debugging).
  • Comply with law, enforce terms, and protect rights and safety.

4) How we share personal information

  • Partners: to generate the quotes you requested and facilitate follow-up/scheduling.
  • Service providers: hosting, security, form handling, analytics/measurement, customer support, email/SMS delivery, and similar vendors.
  • Affiliates/advisors/transactions: in connection with corporate diligence, reorganization, or legal requirements.
  • Legal/government: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We are not a party to your agreements with Partners. Once a Partner receives your information, its use is governed by that Partner’s privacy policy and terms.

5) Cookies & similar technologies

We (and service providers) may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, analyze usage, and measure marketing performance. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit functionality.

6) Marketing, calls & SMS; your choices

If you submit a form, you authorize Sunlight Solutions and up to three matched Partners to contact you at the phone number(s) and email address you provide, including by autodialer, prerecorded messages, and SMS/text, to the extent permitted by law. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Opt out of our marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Opt out of our marketing SMS by replying STOP.
  • To stop Partner communications, contact the Partner directly or use the opt-out method provided by that Partner.

Providing consent is not a condition of purchase.

7) “Sale” / “Sharing” of personal information (state privacy laws)

Some U.S. state privacy laws (e.g., California) define “sale” or “sharing” broadly to include certain disclosures for targeted advertising or analytics. Depending on your use of the Services and your state, our disclosure of identifiers and internet activity to certain partners may be considered a “sale” or “sharing.”

  • You can request to opt out of sale/share via our “Do Not Sell/Share My Info” link or by contacting us (see Section 15).
  • We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Depending on your state or country, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing (including targeted advertising), and to appeal a denial of your request.

How to submit a request: use the “Do Not Sell/Share My Info” or privacy links on our site, or email us at customersupport@gosunlightsolutions.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity. Our lawful bases include consent (where applicable), contract performance (providing requested quotes), legitimate interests (e.g., site operation and security), and compliance with legal obligations.

9) Data retention

We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and enforce agreements. When no longer required, we delete or de-identify information consistent with our retention policies.

10) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Children’s privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12) International transfers

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws than where you live.
